Christine and
Theron met as Single Square Dancers in 1980 and
married in 1985. From 1985 to 1988, they were members of the Dallas
Let's
Dance Exhibition Group
and performed at conventions on every level from national to local. Their first "teach",
"Beautiful Noise", was Memorial Day
1989, and from that moment, they were "hooked"!
Christine and
Theron cue for four clubs, including
Lone Star Solos,
and two level round dance clubs (Phase 3-4 and 4-6) called
Ramblin' Rounds
and attend weekend festivals whenever possible to improve their own skill.
They are currently members of Roundalab, (serving on Roundalab Phase 5 round of quarter committee),
ICBDA, TRDTA, DRDC, and
North Texas Callers/Cuers Association.
Christine and
Theron were Round Dance Program Chairman for 1996
Nationals in San Antonio, Texas; taught and cued at '95 Nationals in Birmingham, Alabama. They have choreographed
several dances, including
including
"Hold on Partner", "Tangueray",
"Hey You There in the Mirror", "Amarillo by Morning", "Too Old to Die Young",
"Mi Vida Loca", "Better Days",
and "Rebel Rouser", which they premiered at
Rebel Mania 97. |
